Our firm is named after the little people in Jonathan Swift’s iconic satirical novel, Gulliver’s Travels. The Lilliputians were brave and fearless and focussed on the little things – like which end of an egg was best to crack open. We have no opinion on the egg question, but believe that little things do matter and that focussing on the detail of each client’s unique situation is important. Our firm name reminds us to stay small and focussed. We never want to grow to a size where personalised service is lost, where clients become just numbers. If the practice ever reaches a size where further growth would jeopardize our abilities to deliver quality, personalised service, we will decline new client engagements.
